Terms of Service

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Magen (the “Service”). By creating an account, purchasing credits, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Magen turns product photographs you upload into professional-grade product images and short-form videos using automated, AI-assisted generation. Output is produced by third-party AI models; while we aim for high quality, we do not guarantee that any particular result will meet your expectations or be free of artifacts.

3. Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and you may not use the Service on behalf of a party you are not authorized to represent.

4. Your content and rights

You may only upload products you own or that you are authorized to represent. You retain ownership of the images you upload. You represent that your uploads do not infringe any third party’s intellectual-property, publicity, or other rights, and that you have all rights necessary to have the content processed by the Service.

Subject to these Terms and your payment of the applicable credits, you own the generated output you create from your own uploads and may use it commercially — except that free-tier output is watermarked and is provided for evaluation only, and is not licensed for commercial use until you purchase a credit pack. You are solely responsible for how you use generated content, including any claims it makes about your product.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to: upload or generate content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or that misrepresents a product you do not own or represent; impersonate a person or brand; generate content depicting real individuals without their consent; or attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or circumvent the Service, its usage limits, or its billing. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

6. Credits and payment

The Service uses prepaid credits. Credits are purchased in packs and are consumed when you generate content (for example, a product photo, an additional angle, or a vertical short each cost a set number of credits, shown before you generate). Prices and credit costs are displayed in the app and may change prospectively. Credits are tied to your account, are not transferable, and have no cash value except as required by law.

7. Refunds

Unused credits are refundable within 14 days of purchase. Credits already spent on generated content are non-refundable, because a third-party generation cost has been incurred. Nothing in this section limits rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection law.

8. Third-party AI providers

Generation is performed using third-party AI model providers. Your uploads are transmitted to those providers solely to produce your requested output. We are not responsible for provider outages, changes, or output characteristics, and your use of generated output remains subject to any applicable third-party terms.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that output will be fit for any particular commercial use.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Magen and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD 50.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that creates legal or security risk. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “Last updated” date, and where appropriate we will provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
